Independent Technical Study · Fictional Product
An espresso machine, inside and out.
Product images, cutaway views and an interactive 3D study.

I built this study to show both sides of a product: the finish people see, and the structure underneath. Detailed product images, internal views and three 3D presentation states each tell a different part of that story.

The outside matters. So does what’s inside.
The aim was to make a fictional espresso machine feel considered as a product, while making its internal arrangement easier to understand. I started with original CAD / STEP geometry made for a simulated brief.
What I worked on
- Prepared the CAD / STEP model in Blender for detailed images and a separate web version.
- Worked on the brushed metal, control glass and lighting to bring out the finish.
- Created an internal view and a separated view of the main parts.
- Prepared a GLB with Exterior, Internal and Exploded states for the desktop demonstration.
The finished images
One machine, from every side.

Up close
A closer look at the finish.
I gave the brushed metal, dark control glass and brew assembly their own close views. Each shows a different part of the finish and construction.

Below the surface
Take a look underneath.
The separated view shows how the main parts relate to one another. The internal view keeps them in place while opening up the outer shell.

Recorded browser demonstration · 27 seconds
The rendered images and browser version are separate outputs. Lighting and materials can look different.
From a study to your project
What a project like this can include
- Eight approved product stills, including material and control-panel details
- Exploded and internal product views
- Web-ready GLB and browser presentation
- 27-second recording of the working browser demonstration
About this study
This is a fictional product study, not a client commission or a manufacturing guide.
Technical notes
The original desktop checks used Chrome 152 and covered rotation, zoom, reset, and the Exterior, Internal and Exploded states. The 27-second video below is a recording of that browser demonstration. Physical phone performance has not been verified.
- Web GLB
- 8,379,976 bytes
- Web geometry
- 204,518 triangles
- Presentation states
- EXTERIOR · INTERNAL · EXPLODED
- Recorded demonstration
- 27 seconds · desktop browser
Independent Technical Study using a fictional product and a simulated brief.
No real client, brand partnership, Shopify integration or manufacturing certification is represented.
The exterior, internal and exploded views are presentation states, not a manufacturing or service specification.
- Physical mobile-device performance is not established by this study.
- Offline CGI and browser rendering are separate outputs.
- No reliable universal FPS benchmark is claimed.

The interactive version
Try it yourself.
Turn the machine around, look inside, then separate the parts to see how they fit together.
- Rotate and zoom
- Look inside
- Separate the main parts
Desktop mouse or trackpad recommended. Performance on physical phones has not been verified.
Live lighting and materials differ from the rendered images.
